对选项E的补全:drivers will be as likely to exceed the proposed speed limit as they are ( likely to exceed) the current one
that cannot refer to opponent (ppl), only who could refer to opponent, thus in this place, that refers to statements
1.strengthen market,2.cooperate with government,3.improve farmers accessibility to productive resource。倒是把for farmers拿掉之后,access for sth 这个说法比较awkward吧。
strengthen market是目的,cooperate with goverment是达成improve xxx的途径,improve xxx才是目的。
NOW with numbers five times greater than 他修饰前面的那句话的survive, 所以主句的主语是THE gyrfalcon, 从句主语是 numbers give times。
从句还原是“numbers are five times...”
c选项small moths are more likely than large moths to be effectively camouflaged while on vegetation和前一句话In general, larger moths can fly faster than smaller ones and hence have a better chance of evading flying predators, but they also have higher optimal body temperatures,。。。
"More than all the North American Great Lakes combined" modifies "20 percent of the world's fresh water."
