第二段中间有个However, 可知是观点的对比。从BE里面选，（当时脑子一抽看到P2开头写traditional以为就是新旧观点对比，看到B的关键字contrast, traditional就选了B）。事实上P1最后一句scientists' reconstructions of the animals' anatomy have had important implications for hypotheses concerning the development of the vertebrate skeleton. 【 hypotheses】就是P2提到的两种观点。全文的逻辑就是p1 的 discovery，p2两种观点，p1的discovery支持了观点2。 从来没有说是新旧对比！而是横向对比！

B错在后半句，不是【derived from 】1981，而是1981年的discovery证明了观点2，注意contrast是干扰词
