the harvesting cost is just one component of the wholesale cost. since we already know what is happening with the wholesale cost, any information about an individual component of that cost is irrelevant.
过了一年多了hhh
i will admit that this is a problem that is brutal to non-native speakers of the english language. but, in this problem, "the oneida" functions identically to constructions such as "the french" or "the english", which are also uniformly plural.
E是错在genetically吗?
According to Whig propaganda, women who turned out at the party's rallies gathered information that enabled them to mold party-loyal families, reminded men of moral values that transcended party loyalty, and conferred moral standing on the party. B)most错 C)没提到reform
The clue hers is to know what or which or who dose not have natural predators. Wildlife officials can not have predators, so dump A, B and E. New Jersey, a place also can not have predators. So drop D. What is left is C, indicating logically that the deer population has no natural predators and that is the obvious choice
Choice C – This choice has verb tense error. Element 2 uses past perfect tense. Whenever past perfect tense is used, there should be a related event in simple past tense to indicate the intended sequencing of event. In this sentence there is no such event and hence use of past perfect tense is incorrect. Furthermore, this choice appears to be wordy. Two relative pronouns referring to same noun – growth seems wordy.
the two descriptions given should be grammatically parallel, since they are logically parallel (both are comparisons with the mayan writing system, and neither is subordinated to, dependent on, or emphasized over the other in any way). this sentence needlessly, and at cost to its clarity of meaning, subordinates one of the two observations as an appositive modifier.
'not as ... maya' is an appositive modifier (i.e., a descriptive modifier introduced without benefit of auxiliary words like relative pronouns or prepositions). such appositive modifiers must immediately follow the nouns they describe.
i left home twenty minutes early, however i was still late. --> i think this is correct british usage, but it is WRONG WRONG WRONG in american english.
i left home twenty minutes early; however, i was still late. --> correct american usage. note the semicolon (which could also be a period, if these were longer sentences) and the comma, BOTH of which are essential.
in choice (c), there is no new subject in front of "was", so that choice illogically suggests that the aztec people themselves were "not as highly sophisticated as that of the maya".
that doesn't make any sense.
个人认为B错误的原因是学者不认为有利的结果会产生。所以也就不会有所谓的outweigh

我觉得A和B的却别还是弄清楚join 和 join in的区别。join in后面跟事情,表示参加做什么事情, join 后面跟人群,组织,表示加入。这边AB 来看跟属于加入downward slide这类态度中去。当然,in order to 和for的区别也很重要。
prep模考第三道V 结果看了两分钟多没看懂...
应该仔细审题,原题说citizens担心的是serious crime
- 'breeds of dog to be bred for looks' seems to imply dogs meant to be bred for looks
B:Since “as” has been used for comparison in this choice, it must be followed by a clause. But “with the case of traditional pharmacies” is a prepositional phrase and not a clause.
C: “As” is followed by a clause. Also, this choice maintains the parallelism by using “is” and “are”. What is the case with traditional pharmacies? It is that prescriptions are the cornerstone for their success. Hence, the comparison is parallel here.
