A study published in the British Medical Journal showed that women who ate nuts more than five times a week were about one third less likely to suffer from coronary heart disease as those who ate no nuts at all.
as those who ate
as women who ate
as those eating
than women eating
than were those who ate
I eat apple faster than you do. I earn more than you.
women who ate were ……than women/those who ate were完美的平行。women eating were than women/those eating were才是完美的平行
than those who ate no nuts at all were, those是个名词,who ate no nuts at all 是定语从句修饰those,其中who是代词作主语,这里who在从句作主语,不能省略;如果作宾语可以省略,如:than those I contacted with last week were
如SVO, like sth,到底是S like sth还是VO like V sth,错,改成S, like sth,VO
SVO than sth,错,改成SVO than sth V
SVO rather than/instead of sth,错,改成SVO rather than/instead of sth V
本题歧义:less likely to suffer from A than B
本题歧义:less likely to suffer from A than B
than those who ate no nuts at all were likely to suffer from coronary heart disease.
