A选项:本选项的最开始是一个时间状语从句,其最近的一个句子many spare teeth lie in seemingly limitless reserve,由于状语从句的就近修饰原则,所以,an active tooth in the shark's jaws is lost or worn down和many spare teeth lie in seemingly limitless reserve这两句话形成“时间关系(when)”。
C选项:本选项的时间状语when an active tooth is lost or worn down正确的修饰slide into the appropriate position。但是定语从句each one of which are ready to slide在字面上依然就近修饰名词jaws,该错误同(B)。
C,each are错误
many spare teeth lie in seemingly limitless reserve,很多备用牙齿看上去像无限存储一样地躺着。
A中each of which的谓语也不应该是are吧
E选项 里 each one ready to slide into the appropriate position,这个不是个完整的句子,没有谓语啊。

AC的each of which are复数错了吗?

1.when/whenever引导的状语从句,应该与修饰的主句产生正确的逻辑关系;在此处,【when an active tooth is lost or worn down.】应该修饰的主句是【each one ready to slide into the appropriate position】,非其他内容;
为什么说d没有谓语呢?D的前半句里reserve和后半句里which is的is不是谓语吗?
The many spare teeth lying in seemingly limit less reserve in the shark's jaws, teeth - lying

In the shark's jaws, many spare teeth lie in seemingly limitless reserve(名词), each one (同位语)ready to slide into the appropriate position whenever an active tooth is lost or worn down.
