The top surface area of a square table top was changed so that one of the dimensions was reduced by 1 inch and the other dimension was increased by 2 inches. What was the surface area before these changes were made?

dimension 指的是边长，如果是长方形的话，就是长和宽，如果是长方体的话，就是长宽高
所以1) (x-1)(x+2)=70 求x2. 可得x=8
