考点1：比较级more...than在结构上与as...as是类似的，需要重复部分谓语。这里tricky的部分是prove，既可以是“prove X”，也可以是“prove to be X”。
1a. 用prove to be X，重复的部分是be动词。

考点2：动词ing形式是adj还是noun???
及物动词的ing形式是不能作adj的！！！deter是vt，只能作动名词。deterrent effect才是正确形式，deterring effect是错的！！！
