关于A和B，网上查了一下这个题，有个文档说“从句优先于主句出现时，如果从句的主语为代词，那么此代词优先指代主句的主语”。这么说的话，从句中的代词是指代weakness，但是，主句中也有it，明显主句的it是指代hypothesis，那么两个it 指代就不一致了。而D选项就没有这个问题，避开了这个问题，优选D。
