隔开是因为中间插入了插入语，插入语那个是同位语修饰前面的points，你在看句子的时候可以把插入语两边的逗号和插入语忽略，不影响句子结构的，这样的话，have been和主语是没有逗号隔开的。插入语的逗号不影响主语和谓语的，但是其他的逗号就会影响
