The population of India has been steadily increasing for decades, and it will probably have what is estimated as 1.6 billion people by 2050 and surpass China as the world's most populous nation.
it will probably have what is estimated as
they are likely to have
the country will probably have
there will probably be
there will be an estimated
there is no reason to use both "probably" and "estimated".
....and surpass China as the world's most populous nation
this is something that clearly must have 'india' as its subject.
i.e., this sentence will not work unless it says that India will xxxxxxx and surpass China...
