已知1993年生产了1,000台录像机，1994年生产了1,000*(1+x%)台录像机，1995年生产了1,000*(1+x%)*(1+y%)台录像机；拆解前式得1,000*(x%+y%+x%*y%+1)=1,000*(1/100)*(x + y + x*y/100 + 100)；由（2）可直接得出95年的产量为1092台。
Video cameras produced in 1995 = 1000 * (1+x)% * (1+y)%
= 1000 * (1 + x/100 + y/100 + xy/10000) cameras
= 1000 + 1000/100 (x + y + xy/100) cameras
= 1000 + 10 (x + y + xy/100) cameras

x persent 要表示为x/100。如果你把x设成一个小数，那条件(2)需要进一步变形。
