"who" is used for humans.
sometimes "who" is used for animals that are personified (such as people's pets), but the standard is "which".
”which will 就远修饰a board of high pressure, 因为谓语builds很短。不然句子就要变成:while a borad area of high pressure, which will bring fair and dry weather for several days, builds. ----by IrisH ”
a new CEO has been hired who….
if you're going to use "a suggestion..." as an appositive modifier, then the portion being modified must LITERALLY describe something that is "a suggestion". it's not good enough to describe some neutral fact that might suggest something to an intelligent observer; it must be a literal suggestion.
for instance: james voiced the idea of going out for pizza, a suggestion that was well received by his hungry friends. --> note that this is actually a literal suggestion.
If I write My blood glucose level is low, suggesting that I should eat, it's incorrect to use "a suggestion". A blood glucose level can suggest something, but the level itself is not a suggestion.
Due east 。。
Bakker cited these characteristics as evidence for the warm-bloodedness of dinosaurs.
Although de Ricqlès urged caution, arguing for an intermediate type of dinosaur physiology。 It may be that dinosaurs had an intermediate pattern of bone structure because their physiology was neither typically reptilian, mammalian, nor avian.
Ron的做法:由固定搭配 be projected to和be estimated to可以排除其他选项,再者cost to 和 cost of都是正确的,但是当两者在一起出现修饰同一个cost时,习惯用法是cost to xxx of xxx

By making *minimal investments* in *intangible assets*, United States com- panies reduce their chances for future competitiveness.
通过they排除A,C,E。 B的cannot be foreseen与原文的can be carefully planned平行。
题干问的意思是“which can explain this fact", 理解错题干意思
lateral 横向的
why B wrongggg~~~~~QWQ
that the effects that 不优
The basic idiom is:
I usher X in.
If I want to specify the region in which this X is introduced, I would say:
I usher X into A.
Something that is sensitive to a physical force, substance, or treatment is easily affected by it and often harmed by it.
