"is/was the case" is a construction that is allowed to stand for the entire idea in the rest of the comparison; it does not require any sort of grammatical parallelism, so there's really no such thing as "omitted words" here.

给GMAT.la 一个真诚的建议:很爱用网站做题,但是“模考”板块模考时的闪退真的太让人烦恼了。好多次,我都是把所有题的答案记在纸上,然后再重新输入。可是这样做,太浪费时间了。本来题很好、毕老师解释也到位,但是如果因为闪退,那就很难竞争过部分网站了。希望后台程序猿同志,能在这个部分改善一下。

就是中间断掉,不知道是网络问题还是程序,我觉得都有吧,断开后没有办法接着在剩下的时间里做剩下的题。
现在模考中间断开可以继续回来重做了,刮风下雨雷电交加都不怕了~
(居然有字数限制)其实我只是想说。。。能不能把人家做过的题,不算分也好,至少展现出来,对个答案
模考做完之后(或者不做完也行),会显示成绩单。可以对答案和看用时图表等。
"with the case of" is an incorrect rendering of "as is the case...".
(it's possible for "with the case of" to be correct, but the preposition "with" would have to make sense, AND you'd have to be literally talking about "the case of" something.
for instance: the lawyer made history with the case of X, as with the case of Y
unlike this example, the problem in this thread doesn't satisfy either of these requirements)
