A medieval manuscript called L contains all eighteen extant tragedies by the Greek playwright Euripides. Of these, ten called the "select plays," are accompanied in L by ancient commentaries and also appear in other medieval manuscripts; this group includes some of Euripides' best-known works, including the Medea. C错误点：in ancient times -- argument 里从头到尾都只讲到mediaval 中世纪时期，不能够就此就判定整个古代时期都没有comments

题目说的，L(中世纪手稿中)没关于E的古代评论，进一步放大范围是中世纪手稿中没有关于E的古代评论。

E E在L（中世纪手稿中）没有评论，可能推出E在所有中世纪手中稿没有评论。

这C选项也太坑了，是针对E没有流传下来的评论，并不能说以前没有过评论，有可能在ancient time有过但是没流传下来

E选项，因为Electra是属于八本中的一本，不具有第一类那十本的特性，所以可以推断出Electra是没有评论也没有出现在other medieval manuscripts中的，进而推断出Electra在任何一本medieval manuscript中都没有评论，即E选项。
C选项的时间范围是in ancient times，E选项的范围是in any extant medieval manuscript，C比E范围大了，所以错误。
对比取非
这道题应该是打上去的时候就有问题，之前还好做过。
题干里少了一句话，是说后面的八部是唯一一次在manuscripts里出现，也就是说除了L这本书，其他的书都没有E这个剧。所以其他manuscripts中E都没有跟commentary一起出现过。
看了好几遍选项，觉得一个都不对
E选项里的in any extant medieval manuscript也够绝对的啊，为什么就对呢？

跻身select plays的两个条件：在L中有伴随评论，出现在其他手稿中；
the other eight（包括Electra）：按字母顺序排列，无伴随评论。
请问这题为什么不可以选C呀？
我想应该是因为题干中的extant（现存的）。
有可能Electra在中世纪其实是有评论的，只不过未能保存至今。
