我的理解的本题分析方式如下，请大家品评：
1）由于原句的划线部分之前出现的先行词是matter，因此就直接排除了like和such as，因为根本上不是matter像electromagnetic waves而是重力波像。两相对比下来in the way...do的方式更好，因此排除掉CDE
2）hopefully这个词，一般修饰有生命迹象的物体，因此在这里用它不合适，排除掉A
