英语的被动语态规定，只有be done by A中的A才能被认为是do的“逻辑主语”。其余的介词，都不能被称为逻辑主语。be reduced from A中的A，按照正常的理解，甚至可以被理解为是“从xxx被降下来”，例如：

为什么不能omit that啊？如果真的加了破折号再加that表示平行结构，那么破折号在这里又是什么作用呢？
可以省略that。所以选项ADE的错误并不在that这里。
破折号本身表示解释说明，这里就表示和believe身后的宾语从句同等地位，表示解释说明这个宾语从句。

我问为D项的错误在于and thus our genetic variation里and后面的名词和from which their numbers were greatly reduced无法形成并列
做不到毕老师要求的那样：不要挑错，把每个选项当正确的来读。语法水平不够，没办法严格按照语法读出字面意思，所以读得很费劲。
so as to 后面的动词主语是其主句的主语
我以为reducing number的是整个前面这句话，不对，其实就是事件reducing
