网上有人提出一个规则：
although 开头，意味着两件事：
a. although引导的句子必须是完整的句子（主谓语都存在）
b. although 引导完一个完整句子后，还必须有另一个完整的独立句子出现。因为although 引导的 都是非独立从句（dependent clause。）

D选项中的两个破折号其实质跟插入语类似，可以拿掉，拿掉之后不难发现两个完整的主句之间没有用连词连接，且与B相比少了although的转折意味
注意的是D两个独立的句子，没有连词，选择的迷惑选项

请问两个主语怎么理解？
ν 在这道题目中，“although--------,”这部分内容全部都是插入语，可以直接拆除出去不看，主句中的主语是“HM”，中间蹦出了一个没啥意义的插入语（这个插入语语法没毛病，就是来捣乱的），破折号后又出现了一个代词“they”，使得主句中的主语出现了两次！

这个题目我觉得少说也做了五遍，终于看懂了although x do y - they do sth-, x do z. 厉害了毕老师
D选项缺少连词！
同OG2017的118题“spear point”那个是一样的，不用although或even though的话，转折关系体现不出来

主句不能有两个主语！！！！
请教，如果破折号中间的删去，那么although从句中有heirloom tomatoes，主句又有heirlooms，算不算赘余?
当然不算了～主句和从句的主语相同是很正常的句子啊。
