A, B, prevented from 前面有逗号，明显是个伴随状语， 那么它的逻辑主语就应该是Sound。 而Sound本身是不能发出prevent from dissipating阻止消散这个动作的，杀掉。同理杀掉E，逗号ing也是个伴随。
C和D：独立主格省略了连词with. D选项倒装还原后应该是as a result of boundaries in the ocean....., 缺逻辑主语 prevent energy from being dissipated. 另外这里being冗余，没有上下文的意思需要用到进行时。

(E) 手段嗎？句意：聲音(主語) 透過 海洋裡～～的邊界 來阻擋聲能消散 有點奇怪吧
(C) 如果是被動 句意：聲能是被海洋裡～～的邊界 所阻擋消散
C比較合理吧 所以選C
