explain A as B的意思就是把A解释为B，A与B仅仅是个对象，不是完整的阐述。
举个例子，小花想上厕所的解释是他喝了很多水，前后对应的都是完整阐述，你不能说小花想上厕所的解释是“喝”、“水”，这完全是不对应的。
