Linking arrangements among secondary schools and the workplace never evolved in the United States as they have in most other developed countries.
among secondary schools and the workplace never evolved in the United States as they have
in the United States among secondary schools and the workplace never evolved as they did
between secondary schools and the workplace never evolved in the United States as
in the United States between secondary schools and the workplace never evolved as they have
between secondary schools and the workplace never evolved in the United States as they did
A选项:在两者之间我们说“between A and B”;不能用among。
并且,as身后是“they have”,为“they have done sth”的省略,但as前面并没有完成时,即“have”出现,所以,as 后面出现完成时形式的省略是错误的。
B选项:使用among的错误同A。
C选项:as身后直接为“in the most other developed countries”这一状语,说明省略了主句部分,但前面的主句部分直接copy过来就成了“Linking arrangements between secondary schools and the workplace never evolved in the most other developed countries”。
D选项:in the US做“联系”的定语错误同B;they have错误同A。
they did为“they evolved”的省略,they指代“linking arrangements between secondary schools and the workplace ”。
C,不能用as in other countries的原因是:前面是个否定句,never evolved,谓语动词完全省略,意思会变成Linking arrangements never evolved in USA as (they never evolved) in other countries.
Linking arrangements never evolved in USA as they did in other countries, did指代evolved,则不会有歧义。
The scientists would have to know more about the problem than they do now. 如果省略they do,than now,会变成have to know more than they have to know now,但现在做的并不是have to know,不得不了解,二是已经了解。
among/between
among通常不与and连用。如:
He is the youngest among the wealthy .
My grandparents are traveling among a group of tourists.
There is a river between us。
ce错选c,排除错误;
e 可以省略的前提是后面的“they did”可以写成“they never did”,明显意思不同
C选项:as身后直接为“in the most other developed countries”这一状语,说明省略了主句部分,但前面的主句部分直接copy过来就成了“Linking arrangements between secondary schools and the workplace never evolved in the most other developed countries”。
如果是never evolved as in other countries,则是其他国家也never evolved,如果是never evolved as they did in other countries,则是美国没有像其他国家一样进化。
如果是never evolved as in other countries,则是其他国家也never evolved,如果是never evolved as they did in other countries,则是美国没有像其他国家一样进化。
he/she/it/they,they既可以指人也可以指物。
between secondary schools and the workplace never evolved in the United States as 错误
b.... United States as they did 正确
they did为“they evolved”的省略,they指代“linking arrangements between secondary schools and the workplace ”。
as身后直接为“in the most other developed countries”这一状语,说明省略了主句部分,但前面的主句部分直接copy过来就成了“Linking arrangements between secondary schools and the workplace never evolved in the most other developed countries”。
they 应该是指“linking arrangements”
