(A) 缺少指代women的代词，致使more than的比较对象不对等
(B) they指代前面的women，表达意思错误，因为if they were to retire表达了同一群妇女不同情况下
的satisfaction对比，改变了原句意思，原句要表达的是不同妇女不同情况下的satisfaction对比
(C) 正确，those指代women，who took和who retired平行。it/they/that/those只能指代名词，不能指代句子，so可以reported high marital satisfaction
(D) which不能指代一件事或者一句话
(E) they指代错误同B；没有特殊的时间标志说明需要用过去完成时had retired。
