请问老师原文的意思不是表达的“大于等于”250只鸟吗？如果去掉as many as 就变成了“大于”，算不算是改变了原句的意思了？

那是个要连接平行的关键词啊。。
as many as ... or more than 250 重复了，意思就是more than 250 （等于或大于250/大于250）

when you say that a single number is "as big as" or "as many as" something, that's a way of putting "≤" into english words.
