这肯定是句子之间的比较。把他写成完整版：the patterns of stress that girls experience are more likely to result in depression than the patterns of stress that boys experience are likely to result in depression.→缩写：the patterns of stress that girls experience are more likely to result in depression than those that boys experience are.
→根据are可以排除C,D；不可能是would，或者do，因为前面是are
这道题反应了我的阅读理解能力不够，首先这篇文章一、二段都在说K的理论观点，我仅仅把第一段视为K 的理论阐述；这是一个思维误区→一篇文章会有很多观点，我要清楚地弄明白，谁的观点覆盖了那些范围，以及整篇文章一共有几个主观点
基于对第一段的理解，和第二段：, he does rightly see Jackson's tenure (the seventh presidency) as the culmination of the acceptance of party, commerce, and individualism. →就可以排除A,B,D,→我错选D是因为我没弄清individulism所代表的的意义，
原句中有个生单词： culmination （顶点，高潮），导致我无法判断E选项的正误
C选项，需要对原文：“the Jacksonian lost its relevance, and under the direction of Van Buren, party gained a new legitimacy.”进行理解→这说明party在VB之前建立
C.中or身后的not不可以省略，因为前后句中的helping verb是不同的，只有前后句helping verb相同，第二个not才可以省略。One report concludes that many schools do not have, or are not likely to have, enough computer to use them efficiently.

②分析两者观点上的关系→后者是在反对、支持还是在补充说明？
这道题表达挺绕的，反正这也就是GMAT狡猾的地方，很简单一句话绕过去绕过来的说，让人审不清题意。根据有关无关性，可以排除B,C,D,E;根据S的观点，是支持R的观点的，所以，结合两个人观点，就是90%的人认识失业的人也不代表高失业率
2、如果前面是主谓结构的否定句，而第二个连结部分只是没有主语的动词短语时，即前后主语一致，那么既可以用nor 也可以用or。
He cannot find anyone now, nor /or expects to find anyone in the future.
You could not persuade him to accept it, nor/or make him see the importance of it.
但是例二中，由于第一个句子的主语是Jane，第二个是Bill，前后主语不一致。因此不能用这种方法改写。
用 nor 或 or 表示“既不…也不”时，有两条规则可循。
1、如果前后都是独立句子的主谓结构完整的否定句，那么第二个必须用nor连接的倒装句。如：
He cannot find anyone now, nor does he expect to find anyone in the future
Jane will never compromise with Bill, nor will Bill compromise with Jane.
可直接排除的：B,D,E
我这里有一个思维，总觉得however后面所代表的的就是对立面，所以看到contrast，contradict就特别容易激动，然后就乱选
首先，这里对GMAT RC文章类型做个分类小结：
①针对一个主题提出两个完全对立的观点
→A.有可能是后期发现对前期发现的颠覆（新的evidence→conclusion的颠覆）
→B.有可能就是两个对立的观点（公说公有理婆说婆有理）
②对某一主题加以修正、补充说明
→前期提出某个观点，但这个观点考虑不够完善，基于新的考量因素、新的evidence→conclusion的修正
③对某一主题进行多角度、多层次、多方面的讨论
既不相互对立、也没相互补充，就是各说各的观点
关于这道题，原文：However, TQM cannot simply be grafted onto these systems or onto certain other non-TQM management systems.→不能简单地被嫁接不是表达对立的意思，更表达补充修正之意，应选C
A选项：at first 和begin－redundant; that direction is the way the prevailing winds in the tropics blow冗杂了，that is the direction of.../ that is the way of ...更简明；
C选项：While hurricanes travel from east to west at first是状语从句，the direction of the prevailing winds blowing in the tropics中没有谓语动词，只能看作一个名词短语，and身后是完整的句子。这造成了严重的语法错误，即，and身前没有主句。
D选项：hurricanes at first travel from east to west和they then veer off toward higher latitudes之间不应该是因果关系，而应该是转折关系；另外，because应该引导一个原因状语从句，since也引导状语从句
E选项：没有main verb
A选项： those换成that,比较的是harvest不可数；
CD选项：比较对象有问题；
E选项：fewer than 有问题，因为比较的是不可数名词harvest, 所以应该换成less than; that of India's 1978 harvest,中，that已经指代harvest, 再加上harvest语义上重复，和冗杂；
A选项：having hundreds of miniature eyes的主语是the intricate structure of the compound insect eye,❌；also，subject-verb agreement is violated: the structure...helps;
B选项：having hundreds of miniature eyes的主语是the intricate structure of the compound insect eye,❌；assumed that they ...they❌，应该指代的是单数的the compound insect eye
C选项： helps explain scientists' assuming that中，assuming有问题；they应该是单数的it;
D选项：helps；assuming有问题；
E选项：with its hundreds of miniature eyes called ommatidia是一个独立主格结构。
