- no comma after 'and', so sets up the expectation of parallelism. clearly there is no parallelism between 'supply potentially valuable pharmaceuticals' and 'as sources of building material and firewood', so that expectation is violated.
- 'for providing' makes no sense.

但是自己还有一个疑问，难道As 插入语能够随便放在句子的任何一个位置吗？感觉怪怪的

supply、provide两者平行，用and连接
此处的生词pharmaceuticals是药物的意思，和后面的building material完全是两种东西
sources是来源的意思，D中provide sources提供来源明显是错误的
！！需根据句意理解

choice b, supply 1)pharmacy and 2) source of building material and firewood意思变成了两个宾语并列。导致了supply和are providers之间没有任何连词

做题时考虑的是并列层次，E只有提供燃料和房屋材料时，才会增加就业，提供药材时不会；D提供药材和燃料、房屋材料时，都会增加就业。

pharmaceuticals后面跟and，搞清楚这个平行并列成分就行。
1，与pharmaceutical平行并列，说森林提供药物和来源，提供来源不太妥当，应该是作为来源，即使忽略了这个意思，只有BD是这种并列，但是B多了一个谓语动词，D的修饰for doing翻译出来意思不对。
2，与supply做平行并列，后面要有一个动词。只有E，E说森林提供药物，而且作为建筑材料的燃料的来源，森林提供了就业。
3，与forests做平行并列，后面是个句子，AC都是句子，但是句子主语都是代词，很明显that只能指代单数名词，指代不了forests。找其他指代前面都是复数，除了material and firewood是单数之外，前面全是复数。强行指代firewood也不合理。
as sources of building material and firewood是forest的定语。
for doing 不伦不类
for + 完整句子 = 因为……
supply和provide并行
