had become是因为相对1783这个时间点，她已经ill了。
join，injure和discharge并列。
E having done不能连接名词 只能连动词。修饰名词只能用done或者doing
D选项，正是因为被动所以用injured，这里用非谓语修饰这个人。为什么一定要与joined和was discharged并列呢
