请问一下b选项如果将compares改为compared，是否正确呢
个人感觉，即便改成compared，语义上也不对。
本句其实是要表达：与80年代42倍的比例相比，现在的CEO的收入是蓝领收入的419倍。
而“compared to 42 times in 1980”表达的是：在80年代42个不同的情况下，CEO和蓝领的收入ratio达到了419:1.

我觉得这个RON的解释有点脑洞大……我个人的理解是B中同位语跳了，所以产生了问题。

A的比较对象不对等，on average的地方貌似也不对，是平均收入不是平均419倍
B逻辑上试着理解排除是，不是说一个什么什么样的ratio。而是C：和1980年的42这个ration来比，是419time。看论坛上有人说可以还原为as it is compared...不是很确定这样的还原语法上对不对，但是是按照这个逻辑来理解的。
我把42times当成twice，没怎么见过twice裸奔，twice＋名词／代词。。。排除AB。。
earn在本句中是名词还是动词？CEO后面那个's是所有格吗？其他选项的compare部分有错误吗？

2. CEO的复数形式，有的时候是CEOs，有的时候用CEO‘s，而是后者更常用。
