D选项中的 favored because ...
(E) because of enhancing reproduction or survival, but are
Though the structure is correct but not sure who is enhancing the "reproduction or survival"
A survivor of the changes that swept the travel industry as a result of the deregulation of the airlines in 1978 — changes that included dramatic growth in the corporate demand for travel services, as well as extensive restructuring and consolidation within the travel industry - this agency adopted a unique structure for globalization.
这句话感觉是不是记忆者有偏差,a survivor of the changes that swept 中的that不应该有吧?
-on sentence
when...
B: having a prescription,
C: having too low of a dosage,
for a squirrel to be said和a squirrel was said that ...
D: 没有enough that...,排除
剩下A
-----------------------------------------
adjective] ENOUGH to..." means, basically, "sufficient to meet a threshold/minimum requirement".
"SO [adjective] that...", on the other hand, is used to emphasize that something is EXTREME.
twice as ... as ...,可以排除D和E,剩下ABC。
the national average是全国平均值,the average American是普通美国人,题目中主语是Americans of Middle Eastern descent,具有中东血统的美国人,人要跟人比较,所以只有B正确。
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
E:we do not have "subject is likely that-clause" in english。
'the national average' would be exactly what it says: an average.
i.e., some kind of statistic.
'the national average' is not a person, so that option is nonsense.
Americans对比 the average American
A B:to last year不对,要用所有格。
C: experienced xx percent不对。
E: 销量的多达50%的下降,语义不对;另外后面的从句不用will have,要用would have。
正常语序:the rate at which trees grow is believed to be among the surest indications of sunspot cycles.
剩下C和E: C里边on Earth做状语修饰is believed动作,这动作发生在地球上;D里边on Earth做定语修饰indications,太阳黑子周期在地球上最确切的表现。
句子没看全,光凭后面的and to pinpoint可以排除ABE,剩下C和D。D里边to prepare for the prediction的主语是computer network,错误,选C。
另外,ABC里边in preparation/preparing for ...
E里边,requiring ... and spending...
D:,spending ...
clothing could be packed flat.
B:so可以当conj和adv,and so可以连用。
由they had anticipated中的they没有可以指代的"人"可以排除ACE。
D E: usage can create problems. X
C: fertilizer can create problems. X
B: if (it is) substituted for..., it may ..., 这里it不对,应该是复数指代synthetic fertilizers.
C: and eventually ejecting ...
D: as后面接句子,但是any star of similar mass would,句子结构不完整,少了个be。
B: it指代的是hydrogen。
KG became publisher--> moved into the first rank --> under her command... unrelenting reporting --> won high praise是有时间顺序的。
A B C里边,resulting in wood ....
E里边应该是 x times as ... as...,不能用than;而且as a result放的位置诡异。

该选项的比较重心在动作上,而不是在speeds上,因此比较标志higher放在了介词短语at higher speeds里,而不是speeds的定语从句里,所以不能拿一个句子和that(speeds)相比,在d的基础上,可以有正确答案would enable customers to receive internet data over regular telephone lines at much higher speeds than the customer could do currently and possibly.
