D里的more than doubling the country's size我第一反应是定语修饰828,000 square miles，主要原因是看到more than，觉得前面又是名词，没有意识到more than是修饰doubling的，更加没有意识到是状语修饰acquire，所以没有觉得D的两个分词状语应该用and链接。

A选项中的them会不会产生歧义呢？

为什么回答都是加强削弱？这不是假设题么？？

carry extra weight和have extra weight有很大的区别吗？Prep2008E2-SC-183这道题选了带have extra weight的选项，但是选这个选项的原因好像不是have和carry的区别，而且句子结构另外的原因。^-^

这个就是as和that引导定语从句的区别，这里强调的就是“那个价格”的的三倍，不是类似的那个东西，就是那个东西，所以用that而不用as

这里relationships怎么摆放都没有问题，不会产生学校和非洲国家关系之间的混乱，D之所以错是因为a consortium of colleges的谓语动词应该用单数形式，

一个both and平行
一个主谓一致
