c 选项说:不像有些鱼,有蛋,其蛋需月而能化.....这不搞笑呢
D is better than B in this case - because the two things actually are interrelated. If SW education is in the university, then students can be offered a broad range of courses. (Note that the original sentence uses a set-up that also indicates this interrelationship: do the first thing so that the second thing can happen. They're making very clear that these two things are interrelated.)
A是在帮助防止利润下降,B和C无关,D说每期广告费不变,但是期数降低一半后,广告收入(广告商数量不变)也降低一半,故可能导致利润下降,e说成本不变,现在减以前抵消,不影响利润改变,排除
the most objective error in choice (e) is its use of "little" for a quantity of differences.
differences (like virtually all plural nouns) are countable, so you can't use "little" to describe them. if this choice said few significant differences, it would be legitimate.
选了C,为何不对呀,是说encourage而已而实际有没有做是另一回事吗
题目中没有说bus啊
e.g., my grandmother doesn't like the idea of combat sports.
in the case of generalization, though, you can't follow it with "of" + noun, because generalizations aren't represented by nouns -- they are represented by statements (clauses). you can introduce a clause with "that", but not with "of".
ABC
this is just idiomatic. fortunately, it's pretty much consistent across the board for words that refer to things that people say or think. for example, you would use the same construction with the idea that..., the saying that..., etc..
some of these constructions can also work with "of" + noun, if that kind of thing makes sense in context. for instance, idea + of + noun can be used:
a 第一分句中的an average of 419more pay 与第二分句中的a ratio of 42times 无法对比

感谢你,每次都会贴上Ron的解释,省了我很多时间。
虽然估计你也不会看到了hhh,祝一切都好
Since不是因为,是自从。。
human. Ticks. white-foot mice. biodiversity. only the C answer covers all the factors, but A only covers human and ticks. so comparably, C is better than A. But I still choose A:(

老師, 請教一下"uncovering vast new areas..."這個是伴隨狀語嗎?如是, 我想了解伴隨狀語的動作不是必須發生在主句謂語之前/同時間嗎?但“揭开新的地方”應該是“冰盖开始融化”之後。
“SVO,ing” ①伴随状语 ②结果状语,此处是结果状语从句,前面发生事情所导致的结果
是伴随,伴随状语是简化的状语从句,没有时间上的要求。
同问,伴随状语不是要和主句动作同时发生吗?
先化后揭开。结果。化到50%也没有揭开,所以不能一边化一边揭开,不能是伴随。个人理解。其实我不太明白Five fledgling sea eagles的那一题,left后怎么就bringing了。。。
同问啊。。。。
如果去掉B选项两个of, 变成presence of a buried crater, the element iridium (originating deep within the earth), and quartz 是否一样正确?
同问!
同问 :)

我觉得可以。最好的最没有歧义的方式应该就是题中的方式。最简洁的方式但是不便于读者阅读的就是你提的方式。还有一个就是explain the precense of ..., the precense of ..., the precense of .... 老师写的那本阅读长难句的书里很多内容很有启发。许多科研文章的句子都是要省略的,但是极简的省也不是好事。。
不可以吧 因为从第二个和第二个平行项来说都加上了presence of...那后面的平行结构也应该如此
再刷这个题,感觉这个“ a building undergoing being converted to cooperative ownership ”跟“a building undergoing conversion to cooperative ownership”意思是不是不太一样呢?
前者是a building undergoing (it)being converted to cooperative ownership,意思是这个楼被转换成合伙制。
后者“ to cooperative ownership”应该做宾补修饰conversion,这个转换是变为合伙制
不知道能不能这么想呢?。。
for most tenants (living in a building )undergoing
undergo是tenant的modifier,而不是building的
为什么不能是building呢,感觉也说得通啊
undergo 的主语得是人啊,最多是拟人化的国家。building发不出这个动作啊,你可以看看朗文里这个单词的例句。
The blunder made the underground instrument undergo an undermining of the thunderbolt.
这是这个失策让地下仪器经受了一次雷电的破坏。我在有道上找到的例句...感觉还是不太理解
不得不说GMAT太严谨了,D、almost
想问一下C选项,有没有found和surviving主动和被动不能并列的问题呢
二者都是当定语,是可以并列的
当they are compelling时候正在disturbing, 而不是have been一直disturbing
