The difficulty (of finding and retaining employees) adds as much to employment costs as (would raising wages)
你理解错相关因果的意思了。相关因果要求前提和结论都有一对AB成因果关系。比如前提是:下雨的时候,总能见到蚊子。结论是:下雨会导致蚊子变多。所以本质上相关因果的推理过程是将一对变量的关系由相关性拔高到因果性。这道题目仅仅是普通的因果关系。
核心词的重要性,主要成分优先表达
mark
答案不是6吗?
句子主语:the survival of……,谓语动词单数,排除ab。
观察未划线部分but also by,保持平行,排除cd
e correct
**句意:The steel industry has changed radically...,as...companies...that...have greatly downsized,...
钢铁工业完全改变因为xxx的公司已大幅减少...
• "with" is followed by a noun (or noun + modifiers), and NEVER by a complete sentence.
• "as", in this context, connects two complete sentences.
• ,such as xxx, 直接忽略
感觉解释有些问题,补充一下Ron大神的吧
关于A 错主要错在parallel:
the most black-and-white error in (a) -- and the one you should be most on top of, given the importance of the topic -- is its lack of parallelism.
"... and resulting" isn't parallel to anything, so that choice is wrong.
*with用法无错,但句意有错, eg"UNTIL an injury HEALS"无意义
(remember—you should not even look at the answer choices until you understand EXACTLY what the sentence is supposed to mean, and EXACTLY what each word/phrase/group of words is supposed to DO.)
关于D 的in which:
To date, GMAC has only used "which" to modify two kinds of things:
"- Noun
"- Noun + prep + other noun
"... , in which..." (like "... , which...") can modify (i) a noun, or (ii) a noun1 + (preposition + noun2), where the stuff in parentheses modifies noun1.
this is also "noun1 + (preposition + noun2)", with noun2 = "cuts and sprains".
From Ron:
in this problem, if you understand PARALLELISM, then you don't really have to worry about those distinctions.
the comparison must be made between individuals of one genetic composition and individuals of another genetic composition.
therefore, (a) and (e) are wrong because "that" is singular; we're supposed to be comparing individuals (plural).
(b) and (c) are wrong because "other"/"another" refers to another genetic composition; therefore, these are faulty comparisons, because there's no word to suggest individuals (we MUST compare individuals to other individuals, not to a composition).
that leaves (d).
--
as for the distinctions:
"the other" is used when there are only two things.
i chose one of the two dinner options; my date chose the other.
"another" is used for another of an indefinite number of things.
usually, i'll order one entree and my date will order another, so that we can each try some of both.
"each other" refers to interaction between exactly two things or people.
my date and i usually sit next to each other, rather than across from each other.
"one another" also refers to interaction, but there may be more than two things/people.
the holiday season offers many occasions for people who have not seen one another in many months to reunite.

C错在“the second is a consideration that is used to cast doubt on that assumption. ”,第二个BF句只不过是用来支持跟第一个strategy不同的另一个strategy,但是并没有直接反对第一个BF句。
好比:
A:因为我比你高,所以我应该是体育委员
B:我才应该是体育委员,因为我跑的比你快
B只不过说了另外一个他觉得B可以是体育委员的原因,但并没有直接去反驳A说的A比B高的事实。
这题搬运一下Ron解释供参考吧:
关于A 是平行的:they're pretty darn parallel. in fact, they're EXACTLY parallel.
so + [adjective] + that + it + [verb]
both parts have exactly the same form.
incidentally—
the verbs are in different tenses, but that's irrelevant to parallelism.
remember: from the standpoint of grammar, ALL verbs are equivalent.
verb TENSES are determined ENTIRELY by meaning/context, and NEVER by grammar.
here, we want different tenses, because one of these things is something that's permanently true (it makes burrowing difficult) while the other represents only the potential that something could happen (it could cause tunnels to collapse).
this simpler sentence, with the same construction, should be easier to understand:
Frank is extremely angry and could start yelling or punching the wall at any moment.
关于D 是idiom错误:Is it incorrect idiom? as .. as to
yep. that's not a thing.
so (adjective) as to (verb) is a thing, but that construction doesn't figure in this problem. (it appears in choice C but is plainly not parallel to its counterpart.)

请问一下这道题的答案到底是A还是E呀?AI考题讲解里面说是E。。。
根据题目判断持方 - against concluding that the scientist's hypothesis is wrong ➡️ 支持科学家“shortage of iron prevents plankton from thriving. ”,即找出实验漏洞
因果:
理想结果 release of iron compounds into one such area ➡️ produce a thriving plankton population 而实验中没做到 所以考虑实验中的其他变量
originated in freshwater ASIA 60M yrs—10M yrs developed special kidney for saltwater
without the developed kidneys swam in saltwater but have to return to freshwater to drink
类比推理
动物园员工的过敏占比30%
总人口中的过敏总数超过30% ➡️ 给出此现象的成因(即 总人口 vs 动物园员工的不同)
⚠️ MEL提到的对象是 best candidates
built in/prior to 不是谓语,The greatest road system 后面一串是同位语
